I'm thinking of trying out making a build-a-base style game in RPG Maker MV (Which means it can be played on mobiles as well as PC!)
I'm thinking the mechanics would have to be like, you can add this room to your house and it will cost 20 wood and 4 slime parts (For glue or something), which can be obtained through finding things in the world, and through questing. Each upgrade could perhaps come with some form of upgrade to the player experience, for example a shop in the base.
Thoughts? Worth giving it a go? Would you play it?

Sounds good. I like that it's going to be a mobile game as well, means I could play it when bored at work haha I would like a dungeon bit where you can hunt slimes maybe and find other things you need for upgrading your house
Unicorns are real!
Not just the build, nope. There'd have to be some alternative gameplay otherwise it'd be kinda boring...
Oh for sure! You'd need to hunt for things to upgrade your base.
